Published about 5 months ago by Greg in Eating Out,Guests and Activities

The Katikati Avocado Food and Wine Festival is a wonderful way to spend a summer's afternoon enjoying live music whilst savouring excellent food and fine wine.

Back by popular demand, headline act in 2019 is, THE BEAT GIRLS.  They will be strongly supported by the amazing Late 80's Mercedes and local favourite Sarah Spicer.  Expect to find yourself dancing on the grass as the day progresses!

Eastpack is supporting the Free kids zone.  Castles are still there and there will be roaming crowd entertainers to keep everyone entertained.

Shane Yardley joins us again.  He is one of Bay of Plenty's most experienced and widely traveled chefs, will be there on the day to show you "how it's done".

Earlybird tickets are $20 per person available online or from the Katikati Visitor Information Centre. Ticket sales at the gate are $25 per person so be sure to get your tickets early.  Under 18years – Free.

The Festival is a family festival but you must be 18+ to drink alcohol. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Those aged 17 and under are free!

We do have EFTPOS machines on site however cash will make your life much easier.

COME PREPARED – don’t forget your sunblock, hat and sunnies if it looks to be fine day. You are welcome to bring a chair or picnic rug.

Our amazing selection of wineries and food vendors have everything you could possibly want, from wine (of course), to beer, soft drinks, coffee and all sorts of delicious meals and snacks.

There is limited public car parking around the venue so why not come by bus, bike, on foot or get dropped off.  ND Kiwi Tours will be offering a shuttle service from the venue on a regular basis

Please be respectful of the neighbours when you leave the park and remember you are entering a liquor ban area.

The venue is smoke free and dog free.  It will be a more enjoyable for everyone if we stick to these rules!
