Spring is here and so is the asparagus

You can't beat fresh from the garden, just picked, asparagus with soft poached eggs with a little parmesan cheese, Yum !!

It has been a wet start to spring here which is good for the plants but not for the gardener! It has been too wet to get out and do some work, just grabbing some time between showers. But it nice and cosy in the Lodge with a wood fire and a good book to read. The weeds will have to wait.
