Greg and I have created a large range of jams, marmalades, chutneys and relishes. We also sell clotted cream fudge made from our own clotted cream (Cornish Style), we have named it “Wicked Fudge” as it is pure evil but really delicious. We have them in small boxes for sale, ideal to take home as a gift. We also have a stall at the local farmers markets when time and weather allows. We have lots of fun picking the fruit and cooking and bottling and packaging it together. It is very much a joint venture and has become rather hobby. We enjoy trying out new recipes.
We recently have made raspberry and plum jam which has been a huge success with our guests and a hot favourite at the Farmer’s Market. We have also made Apricot and Vanilla and Apricot and Rosemary. I always like to do fresh baking for the guests that I leave in the guest kitchenette so they can have a snack at any time. So I now make a double or quadruple batch of baking so we now sell choc chip cookies, hokey pokey biscuits ( a recipe my mum used to cook and I grew up on as a child), also we sell some savory biscuits like lavosh, cheese biscuits and oatmeal biscuits.
We now have a little set of shelves in our dining area where guests can buy these goodies to take away with them. I call it the world’s smallest supermarket.
